And The OSCAR Goes To...a LIBERTARIAN critique. | Hn 21

Watch on YouTube!

Adam and the Porcupine critique the Best Picture nominees through libertarian-colored glasses. Then they put a twist on March Madness to figure out what will RUIN THE WORLD FIRST.

00:00 – Intro. With hat-tip to The Wizard of Oz.

04:30 – Oppenheimer! Best Picture winner. Adam concurs. Tyrone sez, "More bomb, less babes". Also, Which Christopher Nolan film is the best?

11:11 – Zone of Interest! "Sounds" like a good movie! (see what we did there?)

14:34 – Barbie! Great acting, a fun dance number, and a bunch of sexist schlock. Plus, Tyrone shares more than perhaps he should...

17:57 – Maestro! Magnificent acting done dirty by poor directing. Don't wear both hats, Bradley!

22:47 – Poor Things! A surprisingly good movie, considering, well... ya know... the weird pedo vibe.

29:31 -- American Fiction! Adam's 2nd favorite film of this bunch. Is this year's crop (and who won) a sign that "wokeness" in Hollywood has peaked and is receding?

35:30 -- Anatomy of a Fall! A foreign film, and Adam's 3rd favorite of this cohort.

36:27 -- Past Lives! The Korean Barbie of this crop (in that it portrays men quite awfully).

38:18 -- Killers of the Flower Moon! Adam and the Porcupine both rate this film: Unwatchable.

44:49 -- A Hollywood white pill. The good nominees won. The bad nominees were snubbed. Yay!

45:16 -- Haman Nature does: First to Ruin the World! --- March Madness style.

58:37 -- Outro

For no particular reason, we at Haman Nature would like to celebrate actor Dwight Schultz, whose many fabulous works include The A-Team, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Fat Man, Little Boy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwight_Schultz
