Does this mean the trans insanity is over?

(or is this just a lull in the madness?)

Donald Trump 2.0 has come into office like a bull in a China shop! Given that the “China shop” in question is the enormous, authoritarian, crony, insane, woke, bloodthirsty, and maniacal US federal government, I’m loving it.

Today, I want to highlight three things Trump’s done to stop the federal government’s participation and encouragement of the epidemic of trans-lunacy we’ve been suffering from the last few years.

Right out of the gate, Trump issued some 200 executive orders (EOs). Many reversed some of Joe Biden’s dumb and destructive EOs. Among the others, one EO reshaped the US military by gutting their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, and banning transgenders from serving in the US military.

Finally. People with mental disorders shouldn’t be anywhere near the armed forces. What on earth were we thinking?

Oh, Trump also signed an EO reinstating with back pay those service members who were forced out of the armed services because they refused the Covid jab. Remember when that was all the rage? Forcing an experimental vaccine on people on pain of losing their jobs or being refused access to civil society?

I do, and I’m still pretty angry about it. So, it was nice to see that small bit of justice included.

Trump also just signed an EO titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports”. How blinded by ideology and misogyny does a society have to be to need such an EO? We carved out spaces and sports for women for a perfectly good reason. How on earth did we get so insane that we forgot why we did that or what a woman even is?

It’s like a friend of mine says, likening our world to a simulation or a video game:

“This thing is set on Easy Mode and we’re still failing.”

He’s so right. Abandoning basic principles makes us nuts… and very stupid.

This EO banning men from women’s sports uses Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments as it’s mechanism of action. This means it affects everything that receives funding from the government. So, schools and most universities. This means it’ll also impact college sports.

Hopefully, this means men slapping women around in women’s sports will be nipped in the bud before it gets anywhere near sports at the professional level. We can hope anyway.

And finally, Trump had one other anti-trans card to play. The 2028 Olympics are being held in Los Angeles, California. Trump just warned the International Olympic Committee (IOC) through Secretary of State Marco Rubio that “America categorically rejects transgender lunacy. We want them to change everything having to do with the Olympics and having to do with this absolutely ridiculous subject.”

Amen.

Previously, the IOC has been wishy-washy on the subject, punting the trans issue down to the various international federations for each sport. I hope they “man up” (so to speak) and make the right decision on this matter, once and for all.

Trans ideology is insane. Keep men out of women’s bathrooms, prisons, locker rooms, changing rooms, and sports.

How did we get so thoughtless and cruel as to allow the worst kinds of men, those with sexual mental derangements, to invade the spaces we carved out in society to keep women safe from such creeps?

I hope the reversal towards civilization and sanity continues.
