Today I want to share with you a conversation between economists Bob Murphy and Jonathan Newman of the Mises Institute. They are promoting a new series of free courses in their Mises Academy that are perfect to teach (or reteach) the essential concepts of economics from the ground up.

I’m sharing the conversation as well as just the courses because it serves as a great intro, answering the question: Why study economics at all? What’s the science really about and why is it important to us?
