Holy Front Hole, Batman!

The trans-lunatics are running Gotham Asylum

Or maybe it’s Toronto, not Gotham. I dunno. Somewhere smoky.

Earlier this month you may have heard that the Canadian Cancer Society got semi-famous for apologizing to the very few but very loud demands of trans-activists.

Their sin? Well, on a web-page telling people about cancer in genitalia, they used the word “cervix” instead of the obviously more scientifically and politically appropriate term:

“Front hole”

99.9% of the world and 100% of my readers probably think this story and the capitulation of the Canadian Cancer Society is bat-shit crazy.

In the first place, there are precisely zero humans in the world that have ever used “front hole” for “cervix”. Even in the explosion of trans-related lunacy we’ve seen in the past few years, nobody has done that.

But the big problem here (as I see it) isn’t in the appropriateness or not of the word choice. It isn’t even that an institution apologized if they thought that they might have inadvertently hurt someone’s feelings.

It’s that an institution just immediately caved and apologized without even thinking whether they may have actually caused any harm. They just reflexively backed down and apologized over the stupidest complaint imaginable.

That doesn’t bode well for our culture. Perhaps for our entire civilization.

It isn’t entirely the fault of the trans-lunatics. This problem stems from the identarian, woke, social justice warrior phenomenon we’ve been struggling with for over a decade now.

The shrill woke activists have (like 2-year-olds) screamed their fool heads off until they’ve gotten their way. In the process, they seem to have killed (hopefully temporarily) the “immune response” of the adults in the room to simply tell the 2-year-old “No.”

It should have been simple.

“No, you lunatics. We are not deleting “cervix” and replacing it with “front hole” on our medical website designed to inform people about cancers that can develop in one’s genitals.”

Seems like a simple enough response. An intern at the Canadian Cancer Society could have written it. Or even better, nobody needed to respond at all. Not every shriek and wail of a 2-year-old needs tending to.

It’s actually important for the child to learn that shrieking and wailing doesn’t automatically get the adults to cave to every whim.

This is a serious problem. We have fully grown adults behaving like very small children, and the people manning the institutions of our society aren’t doing the job of adults and simply saying:

“No, a cervix isn’t called a front hole. In the first place, it isn’t even in the front, exactly. In the second place, go to your room. You’re on a time-out until you learn to control yourself!”

Instead, our institutions are kowtowing. They are caving. What happens to a society when adults cave to activists in their terrible twos?

I am of the opinion that what happens when nobody straightens out these weirdos and instead capitulates to them, that the values that support our society will start to crumble.

No exaggeration. It’s that serious. If we can’t reject demands as ridiculous and childish and petulant as these, what on earth will we say “No” to?

Our civilization is losing its way because the instinct to preserve it has been eroded away. Again, by these woke, identarian activist-types. They’ve played on our emotions and turned us into bad parents.

It’s time to start setting boundaries. It’s time to take a stand. Don’t let the demands of 2-year-olds determine how we run our societal institutions.

Time to start behaving like grown-ups.
