Okay, Canada, that's it! Now we don't even want you as the 51st state!
Due to a scheduling hiccup, I didn’t get an article out to you find folks yesterday. I’m going to make up for it by sharing another tale of leftist authoritarian psychopathy from our neighbor to the north, Canada.
The country that kindly gave us The Kids in the Hall, Rush, and The Tragically Hip is now showing us how a country can go insane. I hope we use these examples (as well as the ones the UK and Australia have been giving us) as a roadmap not to follow.
The Trudeau government went nuts during Covid, shutting the country down in awful ways. And when truckers congregated in protest, the government shut down their bank accounts because of this “crime”.
This kind of behavior should worry the citizenry, especially since the Canadian government now has very strange ideas of what constitutes a crime that might land a person before a “human rights tribunal”, whatever the heck that is.
The latest outrage (assuming all the reported details are true - you know how the interwebs are) involves a Canadian citizen having her bank account frozen — without explanation of any kind — because she decided to run for office.

I really hope things turn around in Canada. I liked having such a friendly, interesting, neighbor to the north who showers us with great comedy and musical talent. But if they keep going insane up there, we might need another wall.
