RFK Jr: From dangerous lunatic who must be silenced, to... boss?
These are interesting times we live in, and Robert F Kennedy Jr sure does fit in with interesting times. He’s currently suffering through a grueling, hilarious, and revealing US Senate confirmation hearing process to be appointed to head up the ginormous Department of Health and Human Services by President Trump.
If he makes it through, it’ll be quite a reversal of fortunes.
RFK Jr (“Bobby”, here out) is a member of the most famous dynastic families in the Democrat Party. They are rich, connected, and famously left-wing. Bobby’s uncle and father were murdered in very suspicious circumstances when he was very young. Many believe (including Bobby himself) that they were murdered by elements of the Deep State.
You might think that sort of family history would plunge Bobby deep into a heroin addiction or something. Well, it did. But he pulled out of that and became a lawyer who achieved some fame fighting for the environment against industrial polluters.
Bobby also became concerned with how slipshod and corrupt our country’s vaccine production system is. As the number and type of vaccines we give our children has dramatically increased, so have incidents of autism and other debilitating illnesses. Are vaccines the cause? We honestly don’t know, but they are an obvious suspect.
What’s worse, the government has made it illegal to sue vaccine manufacturers if their product causes you or your children harm. This perversion of the law makes unintended consequences unavoidable.
This doesn’t mean that vaccines aren’t a modern-day miracle. They are. But there are still big problems with their production and the legal environment around them. There’s also excellent reason to suspect that we give way too many vaccines to children at one time, and too quickly. Much more study is needed.
Bobby has also long been a critic of our highly regulated and subsidized and corrupt food production system. Food in America is noticeably less healthy than that of other first world countries and it’s not just a reflection of consumer choices. The thumb of the government is on the scale in disturbing ways and Bobby wants to do something about it.
Bobby achieved his highest nationwide prominence as a vocal opponent of the quickly-rushed Covid vaccines, arguing that they haven’t been appropriately tested for efficacy or for side effects. He also argued loudly against them being mandated.
Many people (myself included) love him for the stance he took. Bobby also wrote a devastating book about Anthony Fauci that will curl your toes. I recommend it. You’ll never trust “Dr. Truth-Science” (as comedian Dave Smith calls him) again.
Bobby also spoke out loudly against the censorship campaign run by the government through the social media companies (and prominent media outlets, one assumes) that silenced him and other prominent critics, such as Dr. Jay Battacharya.
Over this last campaign cycle, Bobby became delightfully red-pilled about corporate media, government, “science”, and the Democratic party. It’s been delightful to watch. He tried to run for president as a Democrat, only to witness the DNC stack the deck against any real primary in favor of their anointed incumbent, Joe Biden
Undeterred, Bobby continued his presidential run as an independent, only to discover that the crooked DNC (not that the RNC is any better) also had dozens of ways to keep him off the ballot in various states.
Red pill after red pill after red pill. It’s been amazing to watch a Kennedy come to see how crooked our system is.
In the end, Bobby supporting Donald Trump for president, gaining his support to head up HHS and try to clean up the morass of crony regulations that massive department oversees.
Oh… and the massively censored and vilified Dr. Jay Battacharya is Trump’s pick to head up the National Institute of Health!
What an amazing reversal of fortune! I don’t know if this is an archetypal “hero’s journey” or not, but it’s something amazing to behold.
I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m honestly shocked and… (what is this strange feeling with regards government?)… hopeful?
Again, interesting times. Don’t sleep on them. This is all worth paying attention to.
