You should check out Natural Order Podcast
If you like what we do here, you'll probably like that show too.
If you enjoy the kinds of things I write about here on this Substack, or the kinds of things Tyrone and I talk about on Haman Nature, then I have a recommendation for you.
It’s called the Natural Order Podcast and I do it with my buddy Brian D. O’Leary. You can find all his other projects here.
Natural Order Podcast is available on all the usual pod-catchers, or you can download the RSS feed or listen right on the website linked to above.
Brian and I talk about things in a somewhat similar way as Tyrone and I, but with a slightly different spin and vibe. One of my favorite moments was when Brian recommended nuking Miami — well, sorta.
We talk about a lot of interesting things on NOP about the news and politics and philosophy and such, all with an eye towards discovering ephemeral we call “the Natural Order”.
Our first episode is under nine minutes long and just orients the listener to what our little show is about.
Our second one does a not-too-deep dive into one of the main “pillars” of the show, libertarian political philosophy.
Our third one is related to the second. Brian had a ton of questions about the Libertarian Party and I did all I could to explain what it’s all about.
Our fourth episode is an explanation of the various “schools” of economics (another show “pillar), and why they all are screwed up in one way or another except for the Austrian School. I think I manage to explain it in a way that is accessible and fun — and not too over-simplified.
And our fifth episode is the one I linked to up at the top. It’s about Ron DeSantis’s weird “battle?” with a Hyatt hotel over a Drag Queen Christmas show they hosted a while back.
So check those out. If you like them, Brian and I have a bunch more for you. Natural Order Podcast has a slower (and less regular) release schedule than Haman Nature, but a lot of people really like the show.
I think you will too. And thanks in advance for checking it out.
Naturally,
Adam
