What bugs me most about the culture of voting is when people people tell me it's my *duty* -- especially if they try to tell me, a Christian, that it's my *Christian* duty -- to vote. No, it isn't. I'm under no moral obligation to join the rituals of an evil institution.

If the statists had their way, voting would be mandatory. Creepy.

Personally, I see a Trump presidency to be worse than Kamala, and will likely lead to things happening faster. His cult goes to bed and makes excuses for anything he does. If Kamala is in, the ones who at least pay lip service to freedom will be paying attention and offer pushback.

Yeah. You could be right.

I think a Harris presidency will be worse, but your hypothesis is definitely a valid one.

Yea depending how one looks at the bigger picture I can def agree with you on that, but the Trump people not caring what he does is my biggest concern. And Republicans in general have a history of being very short sighted on policy and law they clamor for such as the Patriot Act. They currently want voter ID and there is a good indication that a digital ID of some sort is ripe for the offering and we don't want that. And they are begging for more border controls which would likely come in the form of more technological surveillance instead of a physical wall. Add in Musk and Theil close to the admin, both are involved with companies that have all that tech pretty much ready to go.
