Great topic, great people, great episode!

The Riemann troubles are like a lens flare. To use the lens, you have to understand how its artifacts differ from reality. After a while, you grow to admire the flare itself and compose pictures that use it intentionally. You can't look at reality, at all, without a lens. Even your eye is a lens. I do wish we had a better lens. But it's not infinity's fault.

Complex numbers and "e" are super, super deeply tied into nature and go way beyond electricity. They are the frequencies of nature's eigenstates. You know, how all eigenstates of linear time-invariant systems are sinusoids... Oh heck, if only I had a place to write something much longer about this, in normal-people language...

B.G.,

When and if you do, please write it in English. 🤣

The other day I lost my Riemann lens flare in one of my unnatural eigenstates.
