Today, I’m going to share an experience I had that that was just… odd. Maybe it’ll mean something to you. Maybe it won’t. Let’s find out!
A couple days ago I wrote an article talking about the Libertarian Party’s brand new nominees for president and vice president for the 2024 election and their tone-deaf (and to my ears anti-libertarian) response to the lawfare going on against Donald Trump right now.
So while that is bouncing around in my head, my lovely wife tells me I’ve got to read this article by Dr. Phil. “It’s awesome”, she says, “It’s like you could have written it!”
Huh? Dr. Phil? That doofus on TV who does what Jerry Springer and all the rest of those daytime real-life soap opera twits do? The guy who makes millions making trash TV for trash people who have no lives and are wasting away mindlessly in front of the TV?
(A little harsh, perhaps. But it gets worse. I’ve never even watched his show. I just assume these things about him.)
And maybe his TV show(s) are that bad. Or maybe they’re not. Heck if I know.
But I’ll tell you what. My wife was right. I wish my LP presidential and vice-presidential candidates had said something like this in response to the regime doing Trump dirty with weaponized political lawfare.
Dr. Phil is on point! Check it out in the link above.
Me, I’m going to spend the rest of the day re-examine my premises. Was Jerry Springer as awful as I always remembered? Maury Povich? Montel Williams? Ricki Lake?
So confused…
Naturally,
Adam
Lol. If this show ever gets big I’ll sing that song Karaoke-style but change the lyrics.
Supporters only, of course.
Once I saw Dr. Phil signed some of my favorite YouTubers to his new network (The Behavior Panel, some guys that dissect body language... fun stuff) I decided he was probably a cool guy. Glad to see he got even cooler! Whoda'thunkit?!
