On Feb 18, 2024 The Telegraph put out an article titled “Trans Women’s Milk as Good as Breast Milk Says NHS Trust.”
This story was picked up by news outlets as large as The New York Post and as local as KSNV News 3 Las Vegas.
Kate Luxion on the BBC even made the claim that male secretions are better than women’s milk.
Thankfully, comment sections show that 95% think this is utter nonsense. but a staunch 5% now believe this wholeheartedly and no amount of evidence will prove them wrong. When headlines conform to your wishes, that’s powerful stuff.
Speaking of evidence, what was this most extraordinary claim based on? One study. One single study. How many were in that study? One. One person. That’s right, n=1. Do we have any idea if the secretion studied came from that man? Nope. No idea. Did they study that secretion for drugs that might be in the secretion? We are not told.
Milli Hill writes an excellent piece about how a terrible game of telephone, misinformation, confusing language, and the worst scientific “study” ever published led to this headline, “Dear BBC, you’ve got your facts wrong about ‘trans milk’.”
One of the drugs a man needs to take to force his nipples to produce a discharge is called Domperidone. Domperidone has been used off label by some women who had trouble lactating. Men who attempt this lunacy must (obviously) take a lot more of this drug than women.
In the US, the FDA has banned this drug for all purposes.
Would you want copious amounts of this drug fed to an infant? I sure don’t.
But all of this is beside the point. This entire article is beside the point. The point of feeding a baby is — and I really want to emphasize this — feeding the baby.
The point of feeding a baby is decidedly not to validate a man’s feelings who wishes he was a woman. Think I’m exaggerating? Check out this creep: https://www.thestranger.com/the-queer-issue/2017/06/21/25225867/my-first-time-breastfeeding-my-daughter
The point of feeding a baby is not to get excited and turned on.
The point of feeding a baby is to feed the baby the most healthy thing you can feed that child. Women are given a list as long as your arm of things to avoid — including sushi.
And let’s talk about the elephant in the room. The disgust. That disgust you feel is there for a reason. It is signaling that something is very wrong with this picture. Why are even discussing the merits of this? We know it is wrong. No man should be putting his nipple in a baby’s mouth.
As the male poster above wrote “And yeah, I kinda got off on it, don’t judge.”
I judge. I won’t stop judging. This is beyond horrific. We have a word for men who use infants to suckle on their body and who get off on it.
No infant should ever be “fed” male bodily fluids.
You know this, I know this, and it is insane that we are even entertaining the idea.
Our society has gone way off the rails protecting the “rights” of adults with mental disorders. So much so that we are allowing literal child-abuse to not only be tolerated, but celebrated.
What must these kids think of us?
No need to guess. Just read this piece from Children of Transitioners, a group out of the UK. I recommend reading the whole thing, but here’s a snippet:
“We have seen evidence that some hospital Trusts are making children of transitioners suck their father’s nipples- a act of sexual assault and grooming that deeply shocks us as NHS staff should be protecting COT infants not enabling their abuse - and refer to our fathers as our mothers, or vice versa, in the presence of children of transitioners, which is abusive gaslighting in conflict with the law.”
This is insane. Wake up, people. We have lost our way.
Naturally,
Adam
A lot of this stuff comes from two sources: The DSM-V and the Obama Brain Initiative. Researchers began shoving test subjects into FMRI machines, observed what part of the brain lit up under certain stimuli and came to a conclusion that fit their observations. Then clinical psychologists began doing the same thing, and came to the conclusion that the brain-body connection is tenuous.
Then the plastic surgeons (who were reeling from the DOW chemical breast implant lawsuits and "body positive" changes in attitude), found a new market in elective surgery. Except now instead of the rich husband paying for the new toys, it's the healthcare insurance system under the guise of mental health. Cha-Ching! And big Pharma gets a new outlet for those chemical castration drugs the courts force on sex offenders. Winner winner!
And where is the media in all this? Now that they've gone completely National Inquirer it's just another freak show to get a rise out of the reader.
The "anything goes" attitude of the grey haired hippies and GenX slackers doesn't help either. "Not my kid, not my problem" is no way to run a society. "Keep Portland Weird" and "What happens in Vegas" turn out to be pretty lousy ways to raise your children. Never mind the disaster that is San Francisco.
